Halter's Body Shop was founded in 1965 by Ferdinand W. Halter in a two-car stall located in Bill & Gene's Auto Clinic, which was located near the downtown post office, across the street from what is presently Regions Bank in Conway, AR. The lot is now a parking area with a mural located west of the bank.
Mr. Halter moved his business to the present location, 702 Museum Road, in October 1968. His business was built on the philosophy that "cheap work is not good and good work is not cheap." Mr. Halter's business grew by word of mouth based upon not only excellent work and service, but his strong sense of integrity.
Ferdinand's son, David Halter, currently manages the business and continues with the same ethic and philosophy. David, along with two of Ferdinand's three daughters and one granddaughter, make up a team of fourteen employees all working to make your experience with Halter's Body Shop a good one.
Halter's Body Shop has a reputation for excellence in craftsmanship and customer service. If you are in need of auto body collision repair, we would appreciate the opportunity to earn your business.
